The Multiple Sleep Latency Test (TMLS) is conducted during the day, in a dark and quiet room, with the patient lying down.

Physiological variables recorded are similar to those in basal polysomnography. The difference is that a recording is made every two hours, lasting 20 minutes, during which the patient can sleep.

The sensors must remain connected throughout the test, which takes place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The patient stays in the room all day and is offered two meals.
